It's been a while since I last shared an update, but today, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey I have had with PwC Malaysia.
Over the past year, I've had the privilege of serving as a Trust Ambassador and completing a three-month internship within the Assurance department. This experience went beyond professional milestones, profoundly shaping my self-discovery and growth. Each moment, from the exhilarating highs to the challenging lows, has left an indelible mark on my life.
One highlight was the recent campus event -IndustryXperience 2024 held at the PwC office, where I served as an emcee for the very first time. Stepping out of my comfort zone filled me with anxiety, but as I stood on that stage, I felt empowered. It wasn't perfect, but that’s alright. At least, I gave myself a chance to try.
Thanks to my ambassador colleague, Chan Jing Mun (Moon) for her unwavering persistence amid our challenges. A heartfelt thank goes to HR team- Adilah Kokatay, Maisyahirah Che Ros, Radha Lakshimi and Soffi Shuhada - for their continuous support in making this ambassador programme a meaningful one. Special thanks to Mona Abu Bakar for her presence during the event day 🤩 It was a pleasure conversing with her and gaining invaluable insights into new job prospects.
Additionally, I want to express my sincere appreciation to our esteemed panelists, Lee Xiang Tan, Almaz A. and Sarah, and our networking guests, Steven Soon, Zack, and Vincent Siew for taking the time out of their busy schedules to generously share insights and experiences with our participants.

[15.01.2024-29.03.2024 Internship]
Interning within the Assurance department (TCCP) was a profound experience. Working alongside my team seniors on the audit for a telecommunications company, I gained invaluable insights and sharpened my interpersonal skills. I am thankful to my team seniors for their guidance and mentorship, which shaped my growth in ways I never imagined.
Here’s some key takeaways from this journey:
1. Strive for progression, not perfection
As a former perfectionist, I often struggled with procrastination. During the intensity of my internship's peak season and ambassador event planning, I learnt that prioritization is key. It's not about doing everything flawlessly; it's about focusing on what truly matters and driving progress forward while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
2. Effective communication
Proactively updating your work progress with teammates and openly discussing any challenges you encounter are essential aspects of effective communication. This ensures that everyone is well-informed and enables timely adjustments to keep tasks on track.

As I prepare to embark on the next chapter, I carry with me the invaluable lessons and cherished memories from my time at PwC Malaysia.
With that, I officially sign off and close this #MYPwCExperience chapter with gratitude and pride.
